THE WATCHMAKER OF FILIGREE STREET: Natasha Pulley

THE WATCHMAKER OF FILIGREE STREET

by Natasha Pulley

I can’t remember the last time I had so much fun with a book! It’s 1884 London, a young telegraphist finds his flat broken into, and a beautiful handcrafted fob watch left sitting on his pillow. Thus begins an adventure that has everything I love: London fog, mystery, something otherworldly happening under the surface, engaging characters – all different shades but you love them all, especially the mysterious clockmaker Mr Mori - and the clockwork octopus.  An instant favourite.
