HARE'S FUR: Trevor Shearston

HARE’S FUR

by Trevor Shearston

In the midst of the hurried life of opening our second bookshop, Hare's Fur was my oasis.  This beautiful, almost meditative read focuses on widower Russel, a potter. The first half of the book will make you long to reach out for clay. The second half begins with the abrupt intrusion of the sound of children playing in a place where children should not be. This gentle gem packs a punch.  I loved it.
