BEFORE THE COFFEE GETS COLD: Toshikazu Kawaguchi

BEFORE THE COFFEE GETS COLD

by Toshikazu Kawaguchi

This feels like one of those surreal movies you accidentally stumble across on SBS late at night. The story catches your attention, and you think to yourself, 'What on earth?', but you can't turn away. It centres around a seat in a cafe, a cup of coffee, a ghost, and time travel to critical moments between lovers, sisters and mother and child. Weird, but gratifyingly heart-touching.
