THE NANCYS: R.W.R. McDonald

THE NANCYS

by R.W.R. McDonald

This book is a total f*ing delight. Charming, funny and a little bit sly, I loved it! A quirky small-town murder mystery set in New Zealand, it follows a trio of unlikely (but rather fabulous) amateur sleuths: 11-year-old Tippy Chan, her Uncle Pike and his flamboyant boyfriend Devon— collectively calling themselves the Nancy’s (after Ms Drew of course). Alongside a satisfying mystery, expect gleefully camp antics, plenty of innuendo and unexpectedly moving moments of family drama as the gang prove more than a match for small-town prejudices and the conniving murderer.
