I remember my mum getting legitimately angry with me when she had to buy The BFG for the third time. I read this book so often pages would start to fall out. I don't just love this book, I am indebted to this book, it is in-grained into my very soul.  The BFG is my origin story, the person I have become, my likes, dislikes, everything is because of this book.
