Everyone should read this book. If we did the world might become a better place. August feels normal, except for the fact that because he was born with a severe facial deformity the kids at his school treat him like anything but. This book is incredible, it touched our hearts from start to finish. We get not only Auggie’sstory, but also the perspectives of other people in his life. This book teaches you about friendship, compassion and doing what’s right instead of what is easy.
