I loved the foggy and mysterious world of Eerie-on-Sea. This exciting book has quirky main characters with lots of spunk (and no parents to get in the way of the adventure) a briny English seaside setting, and bucketloads of mystery. Also a talking cat, a villain with a hook for a hand and of course the Malamander - a not-so-mythical sea monster guarding a dangerous treasure. What more could you ask for! Fans of Nevermore and Lemony Snicket will get right into this one.
