I loved this book! It’s a fast-paced caper through 1930s New York with a gang of kids who I wish I could be friends with. There’s Vita, who has just arrived in New York determined to take back what was stolen from her family. There are Samuel and Arkady, the talented circus performers who agree to help her, and the enigmatic Silk, a master pickpocket. Throw in a tremendously villainous villain – and of course a daring plan to save the day – and you get one fantastic read.
