SORROW AND BLISS: Meg Mason

SORROW AND BLISS

by Meg Mason

Martha, the main character of Sorrow and Bliss seems to be the kind of person who can't help but get in the way of her own happiness. At the beginning of the book I found being in her company a little like spending time with an old friend who is always ignoring your advice and has a penchant for self-sabotage. By the end of the book I was truly in love with this beautiful, witty and flawed character. You too will find yourself rooting for her, laughing and crying all the way.

In Sorrow and Bliss Sydney based author, Meg Mason, has written a thoroughly readable tale about modern life and its struggles: family, marriage, and mental health. Full of wit and lots of heart, it's a very absorbing read.
