This clever murder mystery marries the classic elegance of an Agatha Christie with the contemporary bite of a Liane Moriarty novel. The perfectly plotted whodunnit really kept me guessing; twice I thought I had figured it out, but with a graceful sleight of hand Foley sent me off in another direction. The set up is genius. As one character remarks, there are always secrets lurking at the edges of weddings. And at the glamorous nuptials of the almost too perfect couple, Will and Jules, the guests certainly harbour plenty of secrets. As a storm rolls in over the remote island off the coast of Ireland where the wedding is being held, a body is found, and these secrets turn into possible motives. A real page turner.
