WORDS IN DEEP BLUE

Words in Deep Blue

by Cath Crowley

This is a story about books and letters and best friends that you are actually quite a bit in love with. It's funny, sad, gentle and fierce, and also mostly set in a Melbourne bookshop. So perfect! Henry lives above Howling Books, a second-hand bookshop where readers leave letters for people between the pages of their favourite books. Once upon a time Henry was Rachel's best friend, until he let her down and she and her family moved away. After Year 12, Rachel returns to the city reconnecting with her past while also learning how to move forward again
