This book is probably not to everyone’s taste—it’s darkly hilarious and more than a little bit filthy—but I’m not ashamed to say that I loved this gorgeous, gluttonous tale of youth, sex, food and god. Melissa Broder is so unafraid to take her characters (and her readers) into the deepest darkest corners of their psyches. She really goes there! This book is for anyone who has ever suppressed a desire or wondered what it would be like to let it all go.
