This novel starts with a father and son road trip on a deserted freeway. The most ordinary of things and the most unusual. Which is why I loved this novel. Throughout Argentina's turbulent and violent history one family has managed to keep power throughout, by using the darkest of magic. Dense, dark and absolutely engrossing, this is a novel where the dark past will always haunt you. I Loved it!
